Noticed the local parks near my house didn't seem to have many caches anymore. Decided to take care of that and hide a few. There is a nearby multi that brings you to this park, but no others remained here.
This cache will bring you to War Hill Park. Near the boat launch there is a natural path leading into the woods and around the point of the lake. It branches off in many directions, but the cache is not too far off one of the paths. Mother Nature even provided a nice place for me to sit while I was preparing the container. It's in the woods, so depending on the time of year you search for it, be aware of plants or animals that may be present The cache can hold small SWAG or TB's. I started it off with a couple of items for the kids.
