Earle Jenkins Jr grew up on the Burleigh Farm with his brother Ron and sister Cindy.
His formal education began in Holderness at the one room Bridge School (next to the Community Church) and subsequently transferred to Holderness Central School when it opened. He attended high school at Inter-lakes, BA from Franklin Pierce College and MBA from Boston University. He left Holderness in 1964 to serve in the US Army.
