Access to Orange County's oldest cache (GCAB) was recently opened back, after the trails were closed following the 2018 Holy Fire. We will be meeting at the above coordinates at 8am prior in the courtyard along the lake before hiking to OC's oldest cache. There are a few breakfast options nearby and outdoor seating. The event will end around 9am at which point we will be going after the cache a few miles away.
You don't have to join us after the event if you don't want to. That is optional. This is a great place to stock up on last minute supplies before the hike. We will be meeting for a get-together where there will be opportunities to grab a bite to eat and catch up with local cachers. Oh, and did I mention there will be new caches to find before/after the event?
Note: If you are feeling sick, it is asked that you wait to attend in person events. Anyone who has Covid-19 symptoms, who has been in recent contact with a positive case, or might think they have been, is asked to not attend the event for the safety of themselves and others. Don't worry! There will be many more events in the future!
