The Castle Peak Road is Hong Kong's longest road at nearly 51km, start to finish. Construction first started after the British leased the New Territories in 1898 and was completed in 1920, making it over 100 years old. The Road runs west from the Kweilin Road / Tai Po Road junction in Sham Shui Po, Kowloon, to Tuen Mun and then runs north to Yuen Long before turning east to Sheung Shui, in the very north of the New Territories, ending at the Fan Kam Road junction. The road is divided into 22 sections and named after Castle Peak, a peak in the western New Territories near Tuen Mun.
This “Power Trail” is a combined effort by CO's “Teahan_Family_HK” and “Team AJKJ” who shared a vision to make Hong Kong's longest road, Hong Kong's longest Geocaching Power Trail. With 168 caches along the route and start and finish “Mystery Caches”, can you find them all?
All caches are along or adjacent to the road and consist of many different containers. At times you will need to cross the road using various crossings or footbridges. There are many amenities along the route to Yeung Long, but are less frequent between Yuen Long and Sheung Shui.
Good Luck and hope you can find them all !!!
