With more than 2km of off-leash sandy areas, and a short distance to the city centre, Holloways Beach is the most dog friendly out of all of Cairns' northern beaches giving furry friends an ideal place to run, walk and swim.
A beach stroll in the morning or afternoon is bound to have you meeting canine companions of all shapes and sizes (and their owners, too) - all out enjoying paradise.
You may even spot a few shore fishermen trying to catch a meal, as dogs bound in and out of the gently lapping waves.
This is a geocache best enjoyed by anyone with a geo-dog who can accompany you for a coastal adventure. Park anywhere along the beach and you will have an easy walk north.
