We head up the public road here to access the Drought Hill bypass trail, turning up to the trail at the fire hydrant a short distance up. The locals have put up a private property sign, please respect that the property on the lakeside of this roadway past the turn around is private. Do not drive up this lane, there is no parking or turn around at the end - just gated private driveways.
There is talk of making this part of an Okanagan Trail system - coming from Penticton on the KVR to Summerland, Garnet Valley Rd, Fur Brigade Trail, Hardy Rd to Peachland, along waterfront to Buchanan Rd, Drought Hill bypass to Seclusion Bay, Goats Peak trail joining onto Gellately Rd. south and along the West Kelowna waterfront.
