At Santana Village shopping center we have this relatively new bell tower (really a cell tower in "Disguise") right next to a store that I work at. Most people who ask about it don't know what it is, others don't even know that it is there. Pretty hard to believe no one would notice it, chances are they previously noticed it and then it became ignored. I guess, after a while it just becomes part of the scenery as if it has always been there and atleast they didn't try to make it look like a fake palm tree.
Anyway, it is the tallest building for at least a mile in all directions and easily visible from a ways away, like from the parking lot @ Mast & Cuyamaca.
