Welcome Doctors! ... to "Operation" tree surgeon - CARW2022
NOTE: This cache was placed with permission from the "TOWN OF DEVON", Recreation, Parks, and Culture Department.
1. This cache has been placed for the CARW event with the intention that it not be located prior to 09:00 hours Saturday March 5, 2022.
2. Should you hunt and find this cache before the event start, it will not count for the event, and FTF points are only valid as of 09:00 hours March 5th.
"Operation" was a game I used to own as a kid...a game that would get your heart racing but was brilliantly simple. It consisted of a picture of the patient with a number of holes holding small items that required removal. you used a wired up set of tweezers to remove the items and if you touched the sides of the holes while attempting the removal it would make a connection and a buzzer would sound and the patients nose would light up and it means your turn was over (and the malpractice suit was in the mail.)
In this outdoor version there is no buzzer or light but there is a cache with a logsheet you must find to sign...along with a few distractions. If you find a distractioin you will get a "BUZZ"... if you find the cache ...you win. Please dont forget your writing utensil.
It's not a requirement but I am hoping finders will keep track of the number of buzzes they find and note it in their log.
Its all about fun and I hope you have a lot of fun at this cache. Niether the cache nor any distraction should be high enough to force you to climb...so be safe and keep your feet on the ground.
Access from the top near the parking lot. Be safe and dont get too close to the steep areas but please enjoy the great view from the cache location.
