Haixin Bridge - 海心桥 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

HankChow: The bridge is a perfect site for sightseeing. However, it's not a good place for hiding or looking for caches because of many guards here. Hope for a virtual cache being reborn on the bridge if I have the opportunity in the future.

Geocache Description:

Haixin Bridge(海心桥), nicknamed "Little Phoenix Eye(小凤眼)", is a pedestrian bridge across the Pearl River in Guangzhou, officially opened on 25 June 2021. The bridge connects the eastern tip of Ersha Island in Yuexiu District with the western side of Guangzhou Tower in Haizhu District, and is the world's largest and widest curved girder inclined arch pedestrian bridge.

Haixin Bridge is a centre-bearing steel arch bridge with twenty-three cables, a 198m arch span, a curved girder with a 15m wide centre span and a main girder nearly 20m wide at its widest position. There are walkways on both sides of the bridge, with the east side of the bridge being approximately 500 metres long and the west side being approximately 270 metres long.

Access to Haixin Bridge requires advance reservation on WeChat in accordance with current policy. However, as Haixin Bridge has been open for a long time, there are ample access quotas available during its opening hours (07:00 to 23:00).

【PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE MESSAGE BELOW】

The entire container is clearly visible from certain angles and there is no need to fumble with any of the bridge's infrastructure when looking for it. It is best to attempt to grab the container only after you can see it clearly, or it could easily attract security personnel and cause unnecessary problems. Feel free to message me if you need further hints.
