Geocache Description:


In 1991, when in Israel there was only a limited and local beer market, the Central Soft Drinks Company (Ltd.) signed Coca-Cola, an exclusive distribution agreement for all Carlsberg and Tuborg products and brands in Israel, thus opening the local market to the diversity of international and quality beers.  In 1994, the Carlsberg Breweries were established in the city of Ashkelon in full cooperation with the Carlsberg World Headquarters.  In 1995 the company inaugurated the brewery and began producing quality beer to uncompromising standards.
