This cache is in the Knickerbocker Area of the Auburn State Recreation Area along the Olmstead loop trail.
The town is named Cool not because of the temperature or because the residents are just so laid back, but it is named after a Gold Rush era preacher named Aaron Cool.
This cache is in the same place as my old "Cool View" (GC119G0) Multi-cache. It never got much play and this is such a (dare I say) cool spot and I wanted to put Just A Plain Old Cache (JAPOC) here.
From the cache site you can see the entire town of Cool. So sit down while signing the log and enjoy the cool view of Cool.
