Trysor y Pont Llosgi
This geocache is set in Caeau Glan-y-Môr, an area of land between the two bridges over the Menai. It offers one of the best coastal walks in North Wales and in my attempt to share this with the caching community, I have built my first Whereigo cartridge, which happens to be the first Wherigo on Ynys Môn!
Ynys Môn is shrouded with myths, legends, and stories. Many people are born into a society which predominantly uses the Welsh language and as such those stories are handed down through the generations…

Useful real-world things:
If you’ve never played Wherigo before (and don’t own a particular type of GPS which allows you to play them) you can download the free Whereyougo app to a smartphone, to which you can download and play the cartridge. Think AdLab, turn multicache, turn story book!
You can park in any of the laybys on the A5 for up to 4hrs which is plenty of time to complete the cartridge, find the cache, and get back. If they're full (which often happens during summer) you can park in Porthaethwy (Menai Bridge) and follow the ‘Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path’ to the posted coordinates.
The walk can be quite muddy after heavy rain and it passes through a SSSI, SAC, National Trust land, and a couple of sites of historical importance. The cache is placed off any protected land, but please consider this as you play.
