Firstly, I'd like to acknowledge the Bunarong/BoonWurrung people, the Traditional Custodians of these lands and waters, in which this geocache is placed on and pay my respects to their elders past and present.
I was familiar with this reserve as a kid because I went to primary school right next door. I'd completely forgotten about it since leaving in 1995. It was by chance one day when I was killing time and happened to be driving down Walkers Rd and decided to take a trip down memory lane (Moseley Dve) I parked in the quick drop off U turn area, saw the reserve and became excited about a potential new placement.
It was quite an eventful 5 years for me here from grade 1 to 6, where I cut my head open on three separate occasions, ouch! The principal introduced a 'book of concerns' and my name was lucky enough to land in it one day, LOL. Surely they could empathise that my head had been through enough trauma as it was?!
You're looking for a familiar container. In fact, you're looking for the second container I hid in here on my second visit. I hid the first in a different spot, which had no contents and I just haven't retrieved it yet, so bonus points if you can find that too!
Also note that the main trails around the reserve are likely to have quite a bit of muggle activity before and after school times.
