Here is another JAPOC (Just A Plain Old Cache) for your enjoyment. I found this shady spot just up on a ridge uphill from the trail I hike on frequently. It overlooks a large expanse of grassland and oaks on one side and the other world of houses and roads on the other side of the ridge.
Nothing special here just a little cache tucked into a hiding place for you to find with lots of places to sit afterwards.
Remember to be careful out here on the Olmstead Loop. In the Summer drink lots of water and use a stick or hiking stick to poke around so that the snakes let you know if they are there. Snakes frequently like to hide in the same places Geocachers like to hide caches. If there is a snake guarding any of my Geocaches you don't need to sign the log, but you owe me a good online log telling me why you didn't sign the log. Make it a good one.
