The Bonus!
GeoMonkeyTiger! (GMT!) and I had so much fun hiding 22 caches in honor of 2/22/22, we just couldn't resist one more! So, we decided to hide a bonus cache for you to find! Who doesn't love a bonus!?!?!
However, this will be a bit of a challenge!
As you find the caches, you will see that every cache hidden by GMT! in Gwinnett County has a letter somewhere on the container (inside or outside). Every cache I've hidden in Jackson County has a number on the container.
To find the bonus, you need to do three simple things:
- Find all 22 of the "22 2/2 Caches TO be Placed 2/22/22!" caches! Note the letter and number you collect from each one.
- Match the appropriate number to the appropriate letter! This will tell you the order. So, if you match "1" and "A", that means the first letter of the string is "A"
- You will now have an 11-character letter string. Enter that string into the Certitude checker below and you will get the coordinates to the bonus cache!
Easy-peazy, nice and breezy (Or more properly, "Lemon Squeezy"!)!
Of course, we wanted this to be a challenge. So, you will notice we did not tell you how the letters and numbers match up. We did that on purpose. YOU will have to figure out which letter goes with which number. It might be tough for some, but the clues are definitely there! The only hint we will give you is that you need to pay careful attention to EVERYTHING! We'll also be super-nice and tell you that you won't need any special equipment to figure out the proper order (No UV lights or anything like that). The most observant will figure out how to match the letter and number to get the proper letter string! It will be tough, which is why we rated this a 5.0D!
