This cache has been placed as a tribute to a great friend to many in the greater Howick community.
If you know Peter then I don't have to explain what he does. I have known Peter for a very short time and we have become very good friends. In this short time I have learnt what a big heart he has and his love for his animals and his friends is a true testament to this.
I have recently learnt that Peter is retiring and moving to Bloemhof to retire and live with his brother.
Peter took two days of his time to spruce up this little corner of Howick after the beautiful murals under the bridge were done. Peter and his team of helpers did a wonderful job. I came to visit him on one of the scorching days and thought that this would be a great place to plkace a cache so we can get a better view and perspective of Howick.
Keep an eye open for the trains.
