Il Comune di Milano ha voluto ricordare il piccolo Alfredino, che all’età di 9 anni e tre mesi venne deportato, insieme alla mamma e alla nonna, prelevandolo dalla sua abitazione di via Luisa Sanfelice 12, vicino ai giardini di piazzale Martini, ad Auschwitz. Per ricordare il piccolo Alfredino Winter è stato posato un cippo,che fa memoria ai frequentatori dei giardini di piazzale Martini, del sacrificio di questa vittima innocente. Il bambino, infatti, fu ucciso il 30 giugno 1944 solo perché di origine ebraica. Tutti i bambini sotto i 15 anni, venivano immediatamente uccisi una volta giunti nel campo di sterminio o finivano come “cavie” umane nel laboratorio di Mengele, il medico criminale nazista.
