A couple of months ago cloud9wood place a series on these back roads. I truely enjoyed it so much that I wanted to add a cache of my own. I spotted a few promising locations off in the distance but kept running into locked gates so had to abandon that plan. In an effort to find something truely memorable we drove all over looking and searching then we came upon this little side road and viola. Great view of the valley nice place to turn the car around. Hope you enjoy this spot as much as we did.
Please be aware, the road is a forest road. The way in off of Hoffman road is for the time being pretty good.If there is any moisture on the road your car will be covered in dirt. Which I personally like. Go slow and steady specially down hill, a few years ago I ended up in the ditch while heading back from Hembre Ridge.
The GZ is a short walk to the edge. Long way down but a nice view hope to watch how this place changes over time. There is a stump with a rotted out center covered by a tree. Take a step down and look inside. Recover as this spot looks like it may be used often enough.

Placed in memory of Hi Lo Dad/Grandpa who took us caching for the first time many years ago out on the Banks Vernonia Trail, Little did we know at the time all the places this one outing would lead to.
