This cache was originally placed by my friend JMCz back on Nov. 10, 2005. Jerry passed away recently, having amassed an amazing 113,277 finds, 648 hides, and 2,539 favorite points, so I've decided to resurrect a few of his favorite hides here in Port Aransas.
Here's his original cache description:
"Local overlooked birding spot. Great parking. 4 Oz container log only. There is water here only in the rainy season, so you won't see birds or mugglers all the time. My first Cache so I tried to keep it simple."
I upgraded the size of the cache to allow trade items. The entrance to the park is behind Juan's Mexican Restaurant on Cut-Off Road (note parking waypoint). Come and get it!
