This is a cache placed on the barrier at one of those random road side pull over areas that allows caravans and motor homes to pull over and let the traffic that has built up behind them get past. At least that was one of our reasons for us o pull over. The other reason was that I had a suitably configured Eclipse mint tin sitting unused in my geo-mobile and this seemed as good a place as any to put it out. Of course there is also the view of the Buller River in the mid distance to give the cache a name.
This cache should really only be done when travelling from Kawatiri Junction towards Saint Arnaud and if you decide to attempt it while going in the opposite direction, your actions hereby absolve the CO of any responsibility for damage to your vehicle or life and limb.
The cache is a RitR logsheet in a ziplock plastic bag in an unsuitably camouflaged Eclipse mint container. B.Y.O.P.
