A great kid, student, friend, and neighbor. Casey lived in a house nearby for the last few years of his life with his two sisters and died in the heart of a pandemic. Although his life was short, this neighborhood will mourn his loss forever and always wonder if they could have saved him. May he rest in peace.
“Casey Glenn Johnson, 15, of Rockingham, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Casey was born June 19, 2005 in Santa Rosa, California, a son of Eric Eugene Johnson and Michelle Tschupp Johnson. He was a 10th grade honors and JROTC student at Richmond Senior High School.”
Hidden in the Hitchcock creek right off of the Love Lane Pedestrian entrance. There is parking at the main entrance. This location is relevant because it is near where Casey lived his last few years of life.
