After hiding this cache I was sitting on a near by rock having a snack and drink when I heard "Gobble Gobble". I looked in the direction of the call and saw the same group of hen turkeys I had encountered earlier. I could tell it was the same group becuase one of the hens had a very distictive white head. Shortly after spotting this group of hens I heard another call of "Gobble Gobble" in a more down hill direction. This time it was a smaller group of cock turkeys following them.
So to honor the locals I named this cache "Gobble Gobble"
It is another JAPOC (Just A Plain Old Cache) and it shouldn't be too hard to find.
Remember to be careful out here on the Olmstead Loop. In the Summer drink lots of water and use a stick or hiking stick to poke around so that the snakes let you know if they are there. Snakes frequently like to hide in the same places Geocachers like to hide caches. If there is a snake guarding any of my Geocaches you don't need to sign the log, but you owe me a good online log telling me why you didn't sign the log. Make it a good one.
