This bridge is on top of the pipes, that span the B’sor stream, that move water, to fill the fenced Southern B’sor Reservoir with reclaimed water from the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. This bridge gives visitors a view of the B’sor stream and access to the Upper Rehovot Reservoir and the area around the B’sor stream.
Water in the B’sor stream comes from rainwater in the Avdat heights, Arad, Lahav hills and the western Hevron mountains. In this reserve there are springs that flow all year round and is very important to wild animals such as gazelles, jackals, foxes, wolves, caracals, hyenas and over 200 species of birds. In the spring and summer, European Rollers and Bee-eaters nest in the steep cliffs and can be seen flying to and fro.
