'Fire' became a catchy tune at an international youth camp on the south coast of England, where I spent two weeks in 1968 as part of the Wetzlar – Colchester town twinning. A jukebox was set up in the large community tent, into which you either didn't have to put anything or very little. Anyway, the 'Crazy World of Arthur Brown' turned there from morning to night and 'The God of Hell Fire' echoed far across the beach. Crazy! Well, when you're 16...
