Brolga Bill's Puzzles
Brolga Bill decided that, instead of making all the puzzles for the Mega difficult and different, he would construct some that were grouped into types, that started easy and worked through to moderately tricky. Each type has five puzzles in its series.
By this technique he hopes that some cachers who normally would not look at puzzles, will have a go at these.

Co-ordinates
We use co-ordinates all the time in our caching. So being able to know about them, convert them and work with them is important.
There are several ways of doing these type of calculations on an odd-shaped spheroidal earth that can lead to small errors creeping in, so if the checker is not spot on, you may not have it incorrect. Unfortunately, the geocaching checker does not allow any errors. You might need to alter your answer a few units.
The Puzzle
There are heaps of ways to project a way point. Over a short distance it should not matter too much which you use. Just remember there will be a possible error in the last decimal point with the checker depending on the technique you use.
For this projection you need:
Distance 0.3103km
True 248.0 degrees
Mag 236.2 degrees
Just make sure you don't mix the True bearing (what the GPSr reads) and the Magnetic Bearing (what a compass reads). Depending where on earth you are the error will be large.
