Placed in a little visited section of Borderland State Park. BE VERY CAREFUL OF PARKING. An amazing view will tempt you sit at the nearby bench and enjoy the scene. You can see a section of Upper Leach Pond which was created by the Ames Family in 1930's. The Tisdales, whose home was across the street at the base of this field, farmed this area for over 300 years. It was noted as one of the most sucessful farms of the 1800's in Sharon. Be gentle with the opening mechanism.
