Join us for our 2nd attempt at hosting a monthly event series around the Central Florida Area. Our last attempt, Holiday Hangouts, was abruptly cut short in 2019 due to…… we don’t talk about it. This time, we look to celebrate the month itself. This is Stones of the Saint. Each month’s event will be named that month’s birthstone.
This month, it is Diamond. Do you know someone born in April? Bring them out so we can celebrate with them! Bring your trackables to be discovered, or trackables that are ready to move along. No one wants to grab your trackable? We will. Any trackable not picked up will travel with us until they find another foster cacher to continue their journey. And don’t forget to bring any SWAG items you want to show off, share, or trade.
We will be at Kiwanis Park in quiet Lake Wales. There is a playground, sports fields, and skate park here, and a walking trail trailhead across the street. A few blocks away you will find a beautiful gazebo at the end of the pier, overlooking Lake Wailes. There are adventure labs, caches, and geoart nearby as well.
We will be following all local laws for face-coverings and social distancing. This event is scheduled to last for 2 hours, allowing cachers to come and go as they please without worry of overcrowding. If there are any changes to the timing, or local laws, we will update the cache page, and make an announcement post.
