Geocache Description:


Cache located in area w/ nice view of the old Quartz Hill Airport (See link below for interesting facts and old photos). FTF get's a buck! Feel free to take and item/leave an item and please do sign/date the log. From the hide spot one can see the site of the old airfield to the northeast. A short hike will reveal all that is left of the historic site: A concrete run-up pad. 

Access from paved road or drive in via dirt roads (4x4 may be needed in some places). Decent footwear recommended.

Wildlife in area and state flower might present in the springtime.
