Welcome to the Temple of Doom. You will find this cache on the way to the ruins. Plenty of area to pull over and sight see. You are looking for a small container behind the structure on the left side when facing the road. It's under a root system of a downed tree covered with plenty of rocks. Please replace as you found it. It will stay muggle free. No need to touch the structure, it's there for photo ops.
Located in the ruins of San Gervasio, a few miles east of downtown Cozumel and the seaport.
San Gervasio was founded by the Mayans around 100 BC. The city continued to be a religious center until the 16th century. At its height, the city was home to between 2000 and 3000 Mayan people.
