PIning for the Fjords?

Who, me?  Picky?  I'd like to see them, but I don't like being cold all that much.

Welcome to lovely downtown Herndon, VA.  Join us at the tables for geo-chat, trackable discovery if anyone brings them (I will NOT be bringing a huge build-up like at my 2/22 event, but hopefully this time I'll remember to wear my trackable pinback button), and any food/drink* you bring on your own.  There's a the Little Free Library right here on the plaza if you have books you'd like to trade or look for.

Right here by the tables we have the Depot Museum, across the road an actual W&OD caboose, and all around us many choices for edibles - including Pi Day-friendly pizza and more expected-from-the-name items at a restaurant with takeout if you ask just north, fjord-friendly treats by the caboose, gluteny fillers from at least two bakeries (one breadier than the other), at least a couple of breweries/pubs if you'd like some of that before or after the event, and a wide range of other options - all within just a block or two.

A number of caches are nearby, including a Herndon multi that could take a bit of time (and has a bit of a walk to the final) and two ALs.

Plenty of parking to the west and north.  Dress for the weather.
