READ THE LOGGING REQUIREMENTS BEFORE YOU GO TO THE CACHE. To log this cache you need to complete TWO very specific tasks. Failure to complete these may result in your log being deleted.
Stretching 12.5 miles across Boundary Bay from Point Roberts to Blaine, there are a series of Range Towers protruding out of the Bay which delineates the International border between the USA and Canada. These towers are all topped with reflectors and lights and their designated letter identifier is emblazed on a sign atop the towers.,
Including the two range markers on the west side of Point Roberts between the West Beach and the Tsawwassen ferry terminal, there are a total of 7 range markers designated A - G. Tower C is located at the end of Roosevelt Way in Maple Beach, a public swimming beach where people can swim in international waters, so long as they return to the same side of the beach that they left from.
This Virtual cache is located at Range Tower D, which is found 0.7 miles east of Tower C. The Tower can be reached on foot when the tide is low, via an easy walk along the intertidal pools and sandbars.
At low tide, the base of the tower is exposed and the abundant colourful sea life, crustaceans and sea plants are seen bound to the concrete base.

Logging Requirements:
1) Take a photo from the East side of the monument, looking back at the tower. The photo must clearly show the large D sign atop the tower, the bronze plaque located on the east side of the tower and either yourself (face optional) or a piece of paper held up showing your geocaching user name. All three must be in the same photo. The photo must be posted with your log. No group photos. Every cacher logging has to post their own photo. There is a sample photo in the gallery you should use as a reference.
2) On the South side of the Tower there is a metal sign. Email me through my geocaching.com profile, the word printed on the sign's top line.
