The Gig Harbor fire department’s 911 Memorial Garden centers around a 986-pound piece of steel salvaged from one of the World Trade Center’s collapsed twin towers. It was dedicated in 2017.
Near the posted coordinates for this virtual cache you will find several monuments to each of the locations affected by the terrorist attacks. You will also find a kiosk with information about this memorial garden.
To get credit for this Virtual cache you will need to do the following:
- Post a photo of either you or a personal item with the salvaged I-beam in your log.
- send me the name of the owner of the Blood-stained shoes?
- send me the name of the owner of the Red wallet?
You do not need to wait to post your found it log, any "found it" logs that have not met the above requirements will have their log deleted.
