PIONEER PARK VIRTUAL: MEMORIAL TO THE PIONEER'S OF BILLINGS AND DAYS GONE BYE.
There are oh so many activities and amenities at this park. There is a folf course, a spray wading pool for the kiddos, tennis courts. You will find a meandering brook that threads is way through the center of the park amongst "gnarly old trees" and occasional ducks paddling along in the creek.
FYI: Of interest to note, on the north side of the park there is an old dead tree with two huge branches that form what looks like a giant slingshot .... perhaps this is used as part a folf course. Check it out.
In the winter, the hills are perfect for sledding or cross country skiing. The park is used for many events, special interest group picnics and summer education school programs. A great park to have a birthday party for the kiddos in the family.
Lastly, it is a great park to walk your dogs and meet new people. Make sure you clean up the "poo" ! Others just like to take an exercise break and walk the perimeter of the park.
