Standing a mere 80' above the ground, located right off Interstate 90 in Wall, South Dakota, is the Wall Drug Dinosaur. This dinosaur has been a welcoming site to many that have traveled east or west on Interstate 90. You can't miss this dinosaur as you are traveling in the area. The Wall Drug Store built this dinosaur to help them drum up business in the 1930's and is now a local tourist attraction along Interstate 90.
I had the good fortune of visiting the Wall Drug Dinosaur in May of 2022, traveling east along Interstate 90, while heading home from Yellowstone. It is quite the formibable statue along the highway!
REQUIREMENT TO LOG THIS CACHE
In order to gain credit for finding this cache, you will need to walk around the dinosaur and count the number of fence posts that are holding up the chainlink fence. There is no need to climb on the dinosaur or the chain link fence to get this answer. Once you have that number, please either email me (tdb1977geocachers@verizon.net) or send me a message through messenger with that number. Do not post this number in your log, even if it is encrypted.
Though a picture of you or some personal item with the Wall Drug Dinosaur in the background would be nice to see, it is not needed to log this virtual cache.
Failure to send me the answer to the question in the required section, within 48 hours, will result in your log being deleted. I will not be chasing you down for your answer. Any previous visits to this road side attraction prior to May 15, 2022, will not count since you probably never thought about counting the fence posts before. Please, absolutely no internet finds on this if you can find a picture with the fence posts in the back ground.
