Erasmus (the dragon) came to life on April 13, 2019 when the City of Renton turned on the power. He is 25 feet long, is made out of carbon-free aluminum and weighs in at over 700 pounds. His eyes and mouth light up and occasionally smoke or steam has been seen coming out of his mouth.
This Virtual can be done during the daytime as well as at night since parts of him light up. Most people will see Erasmus as they approach GZ, but if for some reason you don't see him, just look up. He's been watching you the entire time. This is one of the latest projects that the City of Renton is involved in. We like it so much we decided to make him a Virtual as well as being incorporated in an Adventure Lab (hint, hint...A Collection of Friends). To claim this virtual, please either
1) Post a picture of the dragon, which may or may not include your GPS, your smiling faces, your puppy dogs, children, or stuffed animals, or anything else you would like to share with the rest of us and state what time of day you were there so others can get an idea of what Erasmus looks like under different lighting conditions.
OR
2) Send us a message stating how many doors are on the lower section on the north side of the brick building on which Erasmus is perched. Please don't post this in your "found it" log.
