CPR shipbuilding was constructed here over 100 years ago. The Stationhouse ended in 1936 and ended up in private hands. In 1982 it was donated by Wes and Kay Whitehead. The sternwheel steamships named Sicamous, Aberdeen, Okanagan, and also the Naramata were built here. It was a primary facility to board the sternwheelers from Vernon to Penticton. It is now a museum for memorabelia and photos.
