This virtual is a memorial statue for a famous Muncie family's father. The statue was also shown on the front page header of the Muncie Star Press newspaper. The statue was one of my grandfather's favorite subjects to photograph in fact one of his photos made the February 1941 cover of ISTA Indiana teachers magazine. The black and white photo was taken at night with fresh snow covering the statue and trees. The statue was also a favorite spot for my mother her sisters and brother to hang out with their friends.
