This is one of our favorite spots in Parry Sound. Parry Sound's 30m high observation tower provides stunning 360 degree views of the harbour on this Sound of Georgian Bay. After taking 130 steps up the tower, you will gaze down upon boats, float planes and barges, and the famous Canadian Pacific Railway trestle bridge.
Below the lookout tower is the Tower Hill Heritage Garden where you can wander through beautiful gardens that are planted and maintained by volunteers.
Also at the base of the lookout tower is the Museum on Tower Hill where you can learn about the history of the Parry Sound area.
There is no charge or access fee to visit and walk around the Garden and climb the Tower. There is a small charge to enter the museum.
To log this cache, you will need to climb to the top of the Lookout Tower and post a photo of yourself (you do not have to show your face) or a personal item to confirm your location. If you wish to included other photos of your favourite view, please feel free to do so.
