From the parking follow the sidewalk to the Kiosk. Please read all the signs including the smaller ag production signs. They all will add to your wealth of knowledge. The byway includes Cheyenne County to the north, Sherman County where you are, and Wallace County to the south. There are many caches along and near the byway including a May of 2000 cache Arikaree. Special tours of severl different ag businesses and the National Weather Station can be set up for families up to bus loads. Advance requests are required in order to set the staff up needed for the tour. In Bird City the last Thursday in July thru the weekend features the Tri-State Antique Engine and Thresher Show each year. There are many fast food choices near the kiosk and in all the cities and towns many local eateries that are amazingly interesting and great food. Ask any local and they can help you find one that suits your taste buds. Feel free to post pictures of the kiosk and along the byway.
