The Mammoth Cheese is a 22,000 pound cheese replica on display in the Tay Basin, next to Crystal Palace. Twelve cheese makers donated a day’s supply of milk to the project in 1893 for display at the World’s Columbian Exposition to promote Canadian cheese around the world. There are plaques here to teach you the rest of the history of this amazing cheese! And if you aren't familiar with Perth this would be a great place to park and wander the town! Have lunch! Do the Adventure Labs!
To log this cache :
1) Underneath the cheese replica there is an older metal plaque. Message the 6th word on the top line ( it has 6 letters) to the cache owner before you post a find.
2) Post a picture of you saying 'Cheese' ('Fromage' is fine too) in front of the cheese replica and post it with your log. If you are shy just take a picture of the cheese with some part of you (hand, foot, whatever) in the picture.
