Mächtig thront die Burg Hohenneuffen - ehemalige Landesfestung - als Ruine einer Höhenburg auf einem Sporn des Albtraufs über der gleichnamigen Stadt Neuffen.
Eines unserer Lieblingsausflugsziele bei schönem Wetter - um den Blick den Albtrauf entlang und ins Albvorland weit hinaus über Stuttgart hinaus schweifen zu lassen.
Ein lohnenswertes Ausflugsziel für Jung und Alt. Entweder als kleiner Spaziergang vom nahen Parkplatz aus oder als Wanderung/Fahrradtour aus dem Tal oder von einem der vielen Wanderparkplätze auf der Alb...
Deswegen möchten wir Euch mit unserem virtuellen Cache hier herlocken und Euch eine unserer Lieblingsburgruinen vorstellen.
Die Ruine ist täglich zwischen Sonnenauf- und Untergang geöffnet* und bewirtet. Es gibt aber auch Sitzmöglichkeiten ohne Kaufzwang! Der Zutritt in die Ruine ist frei - die Zahlung eines Eintrittes ist nicht notwendig.
Logbedingungen:
Um diesen virtuellen Cache loggen zu dürfen müsst Ihr den Hohenneuffen besuchen und ein Foto von Euch, mit Euch, Eurem GPS oder Eurem Maskottchen schießen.
Und zwar entweder mit dem Wappen im Burghof auf dem Bild oder dem offiziellen Schild des Albvereins zur Höhenangabe der Burg.
Logs ohne entsprechende Fotos werden gelöscht.

One of our favorite excursion destinations when the weather is nice - to let your gaze wander along the Albtrauf and into the foothills of the Alb far beyond Stuttgart.

That's why we want to lure you here with our virtual cache and introduce you to one of our favorite castle ruins.
The ruin is open and staffed daily between sunrise and sunset*. But there are also seating options without the obligation to buy! Access to the ruins is free - it is not necessary to pay an entrance fee.
Log Conditions:
In order to log this virtual cache you have to visit the Hohenneuffen and take a photo of you, with you, your GPS or your mascot.
Either with the coat of arms in the courtyard in the picture or the official sign of the Albverein to indicate the height of the castle.
Logs without corresponding photos will be deleted.
