BOREAS was the Greek god of the cold north wind and the bringer of the winter. Boreas is depicted as being very strong, with a violent temper to match. He was frequently shown as a winged old man with shaggy hair and beard, holding a conch shell and wearing a billowing cloak (Wikipedia)
You are in Honningsvag, the northernmost city in Norway with nearly 2500 inhabitants. The ice-free ocean provides rich fisheries and in the summer the tourism is also important for the town.
To log the virtual cache please take a photo of the Boreas statue forming with your hand the shape of the statue, according to the example picture and load the photo up into your log.

BOREAS war der griechische Gott des kalten Nordwindes und der Bringer des Winters. Boreas wird als sehr stark dargestellt, mit einem entsprechenden heftigen Temperament. Er wurde häufig als geflügelter alter Mann mit struppigem Haar und Bart gezeigt, der ein Muschelhorn in der Hand hielt und einen wogenden Umhang trug.
Du befindest dich in Honningsvag, der nördlichsten Stadt Norwegens mit fast 2500 Einwohnern. Das eisfreie Meer sorgt für reichhaltige Fischerei und im Sommer ist auch der Tourismus wichtig für die Stadt.
Um den virtuellen Cache zu loggen, machst du bitte ein Foto der Boreas-Statue, während du mit deiner Hand die Form der Statue nachahmst , gemäß dem Beispielbild. Dann lädst du das Foto hoch in dein Log.

BOREAS era el dios griego del viento frÃo del norte y el portador del invierno. Boreas es retratado como muy fuerte, con un temperamento feroz. A menudo se le mostraba como un anciano alado con cabello desgreñado y barba, sosteniendo una caracola y vistiendo una capa ondulada.
Estás en Honningsvåg, la ciudad más septentrional de Noruega con casi 2500 habitantes. El mar libre de hielo ofrece ricas pesquerias, y en verano el turismo también es importante para la ciudad.
Para registrar el caché virtual, tome una foto de la estatua de Boreas y la forma de la estatua con su mano, segun el ejemplo. Luego subes esta foto en tu log.
