Die Löschemer Kapelle wurde im Jahr 1847 auf dem Liescher Berg erbaut. An gleicher Stelle wurde bereits 1709 eine Kapelle gebaut, die aber zwischenzeitlich verfallen war.
Der Bau der Löschemer Kapelle wurde in Eigenleistung von den Bewohnern von Wasserliesch durchgeführt. Wenn Du hier oben, fast auf dem höchsten Punkt des Liescher Berg stehst, kannst Du erahnen, wie mühevoll das gesamte Baumaterial hierhergeschafft wurde.
Hier oben, fast 200 Meter oberhalb der Mosel kannst Du im Westen die Ardennen in Luxemburg, im Norden die Eifel und im Osten den Hunsrück überblicken.
Genieße den Ausblick und lass deinen Blick einmal über eine der schönsten Landschaften Deutschlands wandern.
Logbedingung
- Mache ein Foto von Dir, einem Trackable oder Signal an der Löschemer Kapelle
- Mache ein Foto von der Aussicht unterhalb der Kapelle in Richtung Trier
- Schau Dir die Infotafel an (N49 42.071 E006 32.125) und notiere die Namen der Ortschaften bei den drei Windkraftanlagen.
- Lade die beiden Fotos mit deinem Log und sende mir deine Antwort per Message. Du kannst mir auch die Bilder senden, wenn Du sie nicht zum Log hochladen möchtest.
The Chapel of Loeschem was built in 1847 on the Liescher Berg. A chapel was built on the same spot in 1709, but it had since fallen into disrepair.
The residents of Wasserliesch did their own work to build the chapel of Loeschem. If you stand up here, almost on the highest point of the Liescher Berg, you can imagine how laboriously all the building material was brought here.
Up here, almost 200 meters above the Moselle, you can see the Ardennes in Luxembourg to the west, the Eifel to the north and the Hunsrück to the east.

- Take a photo of the view below the chapel towards Trier
- Look at the information board (N49 42.071 E006 32.125) and write down the names of the towns near the three wind turbine parks.
