Mill Creek Nature Park is a wonderful green space in the heart of Riverview. In the middle of the park is the reservoir, created as a water source for the former base HMCS Coverdale in the 1960s.
The coordinates for this virtual cache bring you to a lookout overseeing the reservoir. There are picnic tables and a firepit available for use. It's a great place to enjoy nature year-round.
In 2022, the Town of Riverview added a new staircase connecting the lookout area above the reservoir to watershed area below the dam. You will need to climb this staircase to log this virtual cache.
Logging Requirements
- Starting from the bottom of the staircase, count how many stairs/landings it takes to go from the bottom of the dam up to the lookout area. Send this number to the cache owner in a private message.
- Post a photo showing yourself or a personal item from anywhere along the staircase. Additional photos from the park are always welcome.
You do not need to wait for confirmation from the cache owner before logging this virtual: I will let you know if the answer is incorrect.
