Borre Kirke
De fleste er enige om at Borre kirke ble bygget rundt år 1100, men nøyaktig årstall er noe usikkert. Det er også grunn til å anta at det har stått en trekirke her før den nåværende kirken ble oppført.
Borre kirke er bygget i stein. Den har romansk stil, altså rundbuer. Den er en langkirke med rektangulært skip med takrytter omtrent på midten, rett avsluttet kor i øst og et sakristi som trolig er yngre, øst for koret igjen. Koret har utgang i sør, og i skipet er det en gjenmurt sørportal. Sistnevnte kan ha vært hovedinngang en gang, uten at man vet det sikkert.
Kirken hadde opprinnelig ikke våpenhus, men fikk etterhvert et i tre. Det nåværende ble oppført i forbindelse med restaureringen i 1926–28. Kirken har, i likhet med mange middelalderkriker, ingen vinduer mot nord.
Som andre gamle kirker har Borre kirke gjennomgått en rekke endringer. Sin nåværende form har kirken fra en omfattende restaurering i 1926–28.
Kirken har 300 sitteplasser. Det er galleri i vest (med orgel) og nord. Koråpningen er rundbuet, og korgulvet er litt høyere enn skipets gulv. Kirken har et steinalter med marmorplate som er noe av det eldste av dens inventar. Altertavlen er skåret av Abel Schrøder d.y. i 1665 og har korsfestelsen som hovedmotiv.

Borre Church
Most people agree that Borre church was built around 1100, but the exact year is uncertain. There is also reason to assume that a wooden church stood here before the current church was built.
Borre church is built of stone. It has a Romanesque style, i.e. round arches. It is a long church with a rectangular nave with a roof ridge approximately in the middle, a straight-ended choir in the east and a sacristy which is probably younger, east of the choir again. The chancel has an exit to the south, and in the nave there is a bricked-up south portal. The latter may have once been the main entrance.
The church originally did not have an armory, but eventually got a wooden one. The current one was built in connection with the restoration in 1926–28. The church, like many medieval churches, has no windows to the north.
Like other old churches, Borre church has undergone a number of changes. The church has its current form from an extensive restoration in 1926–28.
The church has 300 seats. There is a gallery in the west (with organ) and north. The chancel opening is round-arched, and the chancel floor is slightly higher than the floor of the nave. The church has a stone altar with a marble slab which is one of the oldest of its furnishings. The altarpiece was carved by Abel Schrøder d.y. in 1665 and has the crucifixion as its main motif.
