Der Pulverturm
Mitten im Herzen von Eisenstadt hielt lange Zeit der Pulverturm seinen Dornröschenschlaf. 2015 wurde der Pulverturm mit dem angrenzenden Pongratzhaus saniert und somit wieder zum Leben erweckt. Die beiden historischen Bauwerke bieten seitdem einen einzigartigen Rahmen für wunderbare Veranstaltungen.
Die Dombastei, ortsüblich auch als „Pulverturm“ bekannt, wurde 1534 in Folge zweier Türkenkriege als eine von vier Wehr anlagen zur Verstärkung der aus dem 14. Jahrhundert stammenden Stadtmauer errichtet. Im Inneren des Turmes taucht man in einen historischen Ort mit mediterranem Flair, aus diesem Grund eignet sich der Pulverturm daher für Veranstaltungen jeglicher Art: Hochzeiten, Konzerte, Lesungen, Theaterauff ührungen, Ausstellungs ort für zeitgenössische Kunstproduktionen, uvm. Die Kapazität der Veranstaltungsstätte „Pulverturm“ beträgt 150 Personen (stehend).

The Powder Tower
In the heart of Eisenstadt, the Powder Tower slept like a slumber for a long time. In 2015, the powder tower and the adjacent Pongratzhaus were renovated and brought back to life. Since then, the two historic buildings have offered a unique setting for wonderful events.
The cathedral bastion, also known locally as the "powder tower", was built in 1534 as a result of two Turkish wars as one of four fortifications to strengthen the city wall from the 14th century. Inside the tower you dive into a historic place with Mediterranean flair, for this reason the powder tower is suitable for events of all kinds: weddings, concerts, readings, theater performances, exhibition space for contemporary art productions, and much more. The capacity of the event venue "Pulverturm" is 150 people (standing).
