St Kilda Playground
St Kilda adventure playground has been a must-visit for generations of families.
The pirate ship, which sits right on the water, allows children to live out their fantasies as Long John Silver, Captain Jack or Blackbeard.

Saint Kilda Playground History
Originally an initiative of the Lions Club of Salisbury in the 1970s, the playground's construction was made possible through club fundraising, council contributions, and labour provided through government employment schemes.
It was opened on 24 October 1982 by Salisbury’s major, Ron White, and has been carefully maintained and upgraded over the years.
In particular, the playground saw a major overhaul in 2016 costing $3.5 million, which also saw the installation of new attractions, extra slides, electric barbeques, the basketball court, and a makeover of the Cockle Street entrance.
