Located 23km north west of the city centre, Melbourne Airport (also known as Tullamarine Airport or Tulla) has served over 750 million passengers since it opened in 1970.
The airport is located at Tullamarine which is derived from the indigenous name Tullamareena. There are three other airports that service Melbourne. These are Avalon, Essendon and Moorabbin.
Melbourne Airports four terminals provide 53 domestic and 15 international gates serving over 30 airlines to destinations within Australia and around the world. The airport is a major hub for Qantas and Virgin Australia, while Jetstar utilises the airport as its home base. Domestically it is the headquarters for Australian airExpress and Toll Priority and handles more domestic freight than any other airport in Australia.

Logging Requirements
To prove you've visited Melbourne Airport you need to upload a photo with your ‘found’ log with EITHER of the following:
1. Photo of you at the posted coordinates (GZ) OUTSIDE BY THE BIG MELBOURNE SIGN; a face is not required in the photo.
or
2. Photo of a personal item at the posted coordinates (GZ) OUTSIDE BY THE BIG MELBOURNE SIGN. Examples include a trackable, GPSr or a piece of paper with your username written on it.
Let us know in your found log where you've arrived from or where you're heading. That would be cool.
Your found log will be deleted if:
- It doesn't include a photo at the posted coordinates (GZ) OUTSIDE BY THE BIG MELBOURNE SIGN; a face is not required in the photo.
- ANY PHOTOS TAKEN INSIDE THE TERMINAL OF ANYTHING ELSE
- If the found log photo has been faked
- DON'T SEND ME YOUR PHOTO. POST IT IN YOUR FOUND LOG.
