Die kürzeste Standseilbahn der Schweiz
Mit 78.5m Länge befindet sich hier die kürzeste Standseilbahn der Schweiz (Stand 2022). Auf dieser kurzen Strecke wird eine Höhe von 23 Metern überwunden.
Die Bahn hat einige technische Besonderheiten:
- Sie besteht nur aus einer Kabine (die zweite Kabine wird technisch simuliert)
- Die Kabine fährt vollkommen autonom (keine Steuerung von der Leitzentrale)
- Die Neigung des Kabinenbodens passt sich automatisch an (von 30° beim Start auf 0° an der Bergstation)
- Sensoren erkennen eine blockierte Fahrbahn und die Kabine fährt automatisch in die Station zurück
Die Benützung der Bahn ist kostenfrei und ein Besuch des Naherholungsgebietes eignet sich für eine kurze Pause. Die Betriebszeiten können saisonal schwanken und bei Veranstaltungen eingeschränkt sein.

The Shortest Funicular of Switzerland
This is currently the shortest swiss funicular with a length of 78.5 meters (2022). On this distance, a difference in altitude of 23 meters is made.
The funicular has some special features:
- It consists of only one cabine (the second cabine is technically simulated)
- The cabine runs autonomous (without remote staff)
- The inclination of the cabine floor is automatically adjusted (from 30° at the start to 0° at the top station)
- Sensors detect any objects on the track and the cabine will return automatically back to the station
The use of the funicular is free of charge and a visit of the recreational area gives you a short break. The operating hours vary seasonally and can be limited during events, too.
Logging Conditions:
