Der Caumasee (rätoromanisch Lag la Cauma) ist ein wunderschöner See in der Nähe von Flims. Das Wort "cauma" bedeutet "Siesta", denn es ist ein perfekter Ort, um sich bei Sonnenhitze über die Mittagszeit im Schatten auszuruhen. Dieser See hat eine typische Farbe - Türkis - und die Wassertemperatur erreicht im Sommer 21-24 Grad Celsius. Der See ist etwas wärmer als andere Alpenseen, da er von einer unterirdischen Quelle gespeist wird.
Der See ist von einem Zaun umgeben und im Sommer ist der Eintritt nur nach Kauf einer Eintrittskarte möglich. Ab Anfang September ist der Eintritt frei. Um diesen Cache zu loggen musst Du aber kein Ticket kaufen, das Foto kann vom Weg um den See aus gemacht werden.
Wie kommt man hier hin:
- mit dem Bus: Haltestelle Flims Waldhaus, Caumasee (Wegpunkt)
- mit dem Auto: Benutze den (kostenpflichtigen) Parkplatz in der Nähe (Wegpunkt).
Folge dann die Wegweiser zum Caumasee, so landest du zuverlässig an die richtige Stelle :-).
Ab Haltestelle / Parkplatz bis zum See brauchst Du ca. 15 Minuten; Schneller nach unten geht es mit der Kabine auf Schienen (kostenlos, siehe Wegpunkt). Mit Kinderwagen oder Rollstuhl ist die Benutzung der Kabine die sicherste Möglichkeit, um zum See zu gelangen.
Deine Aufgabe (Log-Bedingungen):
Machen Sie ein Foto mit Caumasee und ein Papier, auf dem das aktuelle Datum und Ihr Spitzname stehen sollten. Das Bild muss einen Zettel mit Nick und Datum zeigen + im Hintergrund eine Insel oder Seilbahn (Beweis, dass es sich wirklich um den Caumasee handelt).
Begib dich zum Nullpunkt und mach ein Foto vom Caumasee. Auf dem Foto muss auch ein Zettel mit deinem Nickname und Datum ersichtlich sein. Im Hintergrund soll man auch die Insel oder die Kabine sehen (als Beweis, dass es sich wirklich um den Caumasee handelt).

Caumasee (Lag la Cauma in Romansh) is a beautiful lake near Flims. The word "cauma" means "siesta", because it is a perfect place to rest in a shade during the midday sun. This lake has its typical color - turquoise - and water temperature is reaching to 21-24 degrees Celsius in summer. The lake is a little bit warmer than other alpine lakes because it's fed by an underground sources.
In summer, entry to the lake is only possible after purchasing a ticket, from the beginning of September is entry free. You do not need to buy a ticket to log this cache, the photo can be taken from the path around the lake.
How to get here:
- by bus: stop Flims Waldhaus, Caumasee (waypoint)
- by car: please park your car in a nearby (paid) parking lot (waypoint)
Follow the signs on Caumasee, they will reliably lead you to the right place :-) The journey from the stop / parking lot to the lake takes approx. 15 minutes, you can shorten it by using the ground cable car (it is free of charge, look at the waypoints). With a stroller or wheelchair, the cable car is the safest option to get to the lake.
Your task:
Take a photo with Caumasee and a paper where should be written current date and your nickname. The picture must show a paper with your nick and date + an island or a cable car in the background (proof that it really is Caumasee).
